Special Announcement

August 15, 2008

It is with mixed emotions that I announce that I will be closing down this site in the next couple of months.  There are several reasons for this, and I won't bore you with all the details.

I want take this opportunity to thank anyone and everyone that has ever visited the site, especially my loyal readers that come back religiously.  Even more, I want to thank my posse as I fondly call my writers.  Whether they wrote one review or fifty, they have been the mainstay of keeping this site going.  Without them, the site would not have been what it was, and I would not have been able to bring you all of the excellent reviews that have been posted on this site.  They all did it for the love of the music. 

I also want to thank the sponsors that have stood by me through the years...MyTexasMusic.com.  They rock!  TMTR radio...they are awesome.  If you haven't listened to that station online, it's your loss, I assure you.  TMTR.net.  Thanks, guys, for all of your support over the years.  Cuervo Acres House Concerts....one of the very best intimate venues in the North Texas area, and some of my very best friends.  PureTexas.com, a great supporter of MissLana.com and lover of Texas music.  I know I am forgetting someone, but you know who you are, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I hope you all have enjoyed the site and have discovered some great music through the website.  I guarantee you that we did our very best to introduce the very best Texas music being produced.  It has been my pleasure to do so.

I will always cherish the memories that have been made, the friends that have been connected, and the music that has touched my heart and renewed my soul.

Thank you all for your undying support and love.  It has meant the world to me, and I am very blessed to be a part of the Texas music family.
