About The Recordman
Native Texan, Jim Hughes came by his web name honestly and has been a music lover and record collector since the age of five. As a youth, he saw numerous country music legends perform during regular visits to the Big D Jamboree, where his uncle was in the house band. He enjoys rock 'n roll, rockabilly, country, big band, all blues, classical and all other genres of music and has taken a special interest in Texas music since Buddy Holly. He reads music research books like most people read a novel and has for years. I consider Jim a human encyclopedia when it comes to knowing his music, and we are extremely fortunate to have him on our team. |
