Billy Joe Shaver & Band
w/ Eleven Hundred Springs Opening
Sons of Hermann Hall

This was a truly special night for me. Not only did
I get to see the living legend, Billy Joe Shaver, but I also had the
pleasure of meeting a new branch of the OKOM family tree, several of Billy
Joe Shaver's biggest fans from different parts of Texas and even
Kansas! It was a very memorable evening with some very wonderful
people and the unbelievable Billy Joe Shaver.
God bless Billy Joe Shaver...and Eddy Shaver and their fans. Most of these pictures didn't turn out very well as I
used the wrong flash mode on my new camera and caught the motion, thus
causing the blurring effect. But I wanted to share them
anyway. I thought some of them look kind of cool. At least
some turned out good.

This page is dedicated to the loving memory of Eddy
Shaver, who passed away December 31, 2000. Eddy will always be
around. As his and Billy Joe's song goes, here are some of the
verses to "Live Forever".
I'm gonna live forever, I'm gonna cross that
river
I'm gonna catch tomorrow now.
You're gonna wanna hold me, just like I always told
you,
You're gonna miss me when I'm
gone.
Nobody here will ever find me
But I will always be around,
Just like the songs I leave behind
me
I'm gonna live forever now.
When this old world has gone
asunder
and all the stars fall from the
sky
Remember someone really loves you
We'll live forever, you and I.
I'm gonna live forever, I'm gonna cross that
river
I'm gonna catch tomorrow now.
